Job Description Summary:
Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and 5-7 years of appropriate experience. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Degree in marketing or management with experience in marketing or related field.

Should have progressive experience and success in online marketing, including: designing and implementing campaign-specific web pages, conducting email campaigns and using social media for the sale of a considered purchase item.

Academic experience desirable; success in collaborating, leading, coaching, and training staff.

Familiarity with Drupal, web-development software, database and CRM software (Salesforce) is desired.

Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and communications skills.

Job Duties
  • Program Execution Management: Support, direct and oversee the timely execution of a large number of diverse web, search marketing and social media projects to ensure effective, timely completion of deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

  • Tactical Planning:
    Develop and execute tactical online marketing initiatives including: online advertising, search engine marketing, social media activity. Also, develop College and individual program web sites, and digital community-building efforts to engage prospective students and motivate them to seek (more) information by contacting Recruitment Specialists.

    Collaborate internally with colleagues in the marketing and recruitment team, program faculty and the Dean’s office to create and deliver successful online marketing campaigns.

    Academic Support: Act as marketing team resource and provides online marketing assistance for academic programs, as directed by the Assistant Dean, including SEM/search engine marketing, A/B testing of online materials and creative work, PPC/pay per click campaigns, coordinating campaign-specific web page design and creation, online analytics and tracking, and other web-based activities and initiatives.

  • Analysis: Analyze data and metrics on a routine/regular/ongoing basis to identify meaningful insights and trends from digital campaigns and activities. Share insights with the Marketing/Recruitment team, administration and faculty to contribute to the evaluation and improvement of the entire integrated campaign for CPS programs.

  • Strategic Planning: Work with the Executive Director, marketing managers and recruitment specialists and develop a comprehensive web/digital, social media strategy for the College of Professional Studies and the programs it supports.

  • Research – establish and manage an ongoing online research effort to improve and innovate.

    Techniques to be used include: A/B testing of online materials, PPC/pay per click campaigns, specific web page design and creation.

    Use online analytics and tracking, and other web-based activities and initiatives to evaluate results. Also, conduct ongoing research into emerging technologies and trends in the digital marketing space.

  • Vendor Management: Work with the Executive Director to manage external digital support venders.

    Ensure University and College strategy is reflected in all activities.

    Coordinate and collaborate with External Relations, the digital marketing team managing the university-wide assets.

    Evaluate vendor performance annually, negotiate agreements for review by the Executive Director, and seek qualified vendors as needed.

  • Budget management: Manage online/digital marketing budgets as part of and in coordination with the Marketing and Recruitment team.

  • Miscellaneous and Other duties:
