Duties may include, but are not limited to: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to the two largest aid programs - federal and private loans and the federal work study program. To maintain data integrity in the financial aid system and ensure successful and accurate processing of student data towards the delivery of financial aid awards to students. This position maintains a thorough and current working knowledge of all Title IV Federal, State of Colorado, and institutional rules, regulations and procedures to ensure accurate programming so that our awards are in compliance. Assist with direct loan reconciliation, which is a $40 million dollar aid program and requires strong attention to detail and general accounting procedures. Create, update and maintain all student employment and loan related website pages and content (i.e. annual forms, changes in regulations, upcoming programs/processes, deadlines). Responsible for keeping all posted information current, accurate, and clear. Assist with presence on our social media outlets - - Facebook, Twitter. Assist with email communications for ; and Assist with procurement, expensing, travel arrangement, supply ordering, etc. using the Concur System as well as working closely with the accounts payable and purchasing departments. Assist with online certification of financial aid awards, SEAN's Place job postings, student/staff payroll/leave reporting, and payroll data entry. Assist with the online certification of Private educational loans as well as serving as a backup for the Direct Loans file transmission. Assist with events, trainings, processes, etc. and communicating them to campus, students, employers, community etc. Assist in creating and maintaining student employment and loan policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications: Three years of work experience in the occupational field or specialized subject area of the work assigned to the job - professional financial aid maintenance of data integrity work experience in a higher education financial aid program - this experience must be documented as the majority of the work assignment. Necessary Special Requirements: Applicants must be willing and able to pass pre-employment background checks.

Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Desired Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree with experience in a higher education setting. *Knowledge of financial aid programs *Strong knowledge of an integrated financial aid management system (Campus Solutions strongly preferred). *Experience with a document imaging system. *Extensive working knowledge of federal and State of Colorado financial aid rules and regulations.
