Placement Range: $58,100 - $75,700

General Description: This is a mid-level management position that provides administrative oversight to an academic division affording educational opportunities within available resources through the planning, coordination and implementation of an approved system for the provision of credit and non-credit courses that adhere to OSRHE policies and guidelines. The Dean will emphasize student success, faculty development, and program and faculty support. He/she will possess the ability to provide leadership and be a visionary and proactive individual. The Dean will value the need for collegiality and teamwork with other Deans. The Dean will also provide mentoring and long-term strategic planning for the division while assisting faculty in instructional planning. The Dean should possess the faculty qualifications in a program within the division or in a directly related academic discipline.

Minimum Education/Experience: Master's degree Five years successful work experience teaching post secondary education or management experience that includes successful leadership Faculty qualifications in a program within the Business Division or a directly related academic discipline

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated academic leadership including excellent written & oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and good judgment Understanding of budget, planning, assessment, and personnel processes Strong organizational and management skills Ability to assess faculty & staff performance and provide appropriate feedback Ability to work in a diverse campus community
