Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Instructor is an important part of our nursing program. The primary role of this position is to provide assignments for nursing students and supervise student performance at the clinical facility.

This is a part time temporary position with an hourly rate of $33.34/hr.


  • Issue nursing student clinical assignments.
  • Supervise student performance at the clinical facility.
  • Evaluate the clinical performance and related written assignments to determine if students meet the expected outcomes.
  • The instructor is expected to communicate regularly with the course team regarding course expectations and student performance.

Required Skills

- Extensive knowledge of the subject area(s) in which the individual is responsible for instruction.

- Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of effective communication and of effective instruction.

Required Education:

A baccalaureate degree in nursing and an active, unrestricted FL RN license are required.

Preferred Education:

A master’s degree in nursing is preferred.

Experience Required

At least 2 years of nursing experience is required.
