Substitute Teacher - Child and Family Development Center
|Duties & Responsibilities||
The position reports to the Director of the Child and Family Development Center and assists in the care and instruction of children 6 weeks to 5 years of age in an NAEYC accredited laboratory program. This individual will help meet the basic needs of children enrolled at the CFDC, implement and carry out curriculum requirements as directed by the lead teacher, and carry out housekeeping duties as directed.
Minimum qualifications: high school diploma and experience in child care. Early Childhood degree, credentials, and coursework in early childhood education, elementary education, child development or psychology preferred. Physical requirements: standing, walking, stooping, sitting, crouching, bending. Must be able to lift and carry children up to 50 pounds safely. All candidates are subject to a Criminal Background Investigation prior to any offer of employment. The candidate is responsible for paying the Criminal Background processing fee.
