Anticipated Salary Range
$50,000 - $58,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Master's degree in international education or closely related field.
Minimum four years full time professional experience in higher education or closely related setting.
Experience living, studying or working abroad.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with various populations at FSU and with international partners.
Experience in data management and the use of information technologies.

This position is Time Limited dependent on availability of auxiliary funding.

Provide university wide coordination for the Special Academic Programs (SAP) designed for talented international students from partner institutions to complete senior year at FSU and enter graduate school. Coordinate the FSU international agreement process, and support international initiatives promoting campus internationalization.

Coordinate the university wide Special Academic Programs and provide support to academic units to establish new agreements and increase student enrollment in these programs. Manage the MOU process and work with FSU faculty contacts and international partner contacts to ensure programs are marketed in timely manner. Work with international partner contacts to support the student application admission, registration and payment process and work with students to complete additional documents necessary for course enrollment and the visa application process. Work with academic departments to coordinate advising, course building, and course registration process. Work with various units across campus to ensure program needs are met. Manage student and program data.
Provide workshops for SAP students on the application process for graduate school to help ensure SAP serves as a feeder program to FSU graduate programs. Hold office hours and serve as support to students.

Coordinate the university wide process for setting up new international agreements including cooperative agreements, bilateral exchange agreements, and the MOU process for the Special Academic Programs. Maintain database of agreements and related activity. Work with academic units to identify international partners and increase bilateral exchange agreements. Supervise the exchange coordinator supporting both inbound and outbound students.

Establish and maintain campus wide inventory of international activity including research and grants, and develop a database of faculty with international experience and expertise. Revise and update the content of the Global FSU website to serve as comprehensive resource of all international activity and programs on campus. Produce an annual publication highlighting international activity at FSU.

Assist with development of policies and procedures regarding international initiatives across campus to increase efficiency and standardization of services. Conduct research on international initiatives at other institutions and maintain data to support the development and implementation of an FSU campus internationalization plan. Stay current on internationalization efforts in higher education and best practices.

Attend major CGE and DSA sponsored events throughout the year and serve on CGE and university wide committees as needed.
