Northwestern College seeks a director of global education. The director will oversee all academic off-campus programs and serve as the campus administrator for NWC’s semester programs in Romania, Oman and Denver. Other responsibilities include working with faculty and students to place them in off-campus programs, program evaluation, and management of the budget. The director also has responsibility for Northwestern’s summer study abroad programs, working with the coordinator of global education programs to support faculty and students in international learning environments. The director will have a 1/3 teaching assignment in their area of expertise. Minimum requirements include an M.A. in a related field, doctorate desirable; three to five years of experience with international and/or multicultural programs; and administrative experience. The director must have strong oral and written communication skills, supervisory skills, and be able to make program and budget decisions. Some travel, including international travel, is required on occasion.
