Job Description: Enterprise Systems is currently seeking an experienced data analysis and reporting professional to join our team. We are looking for a skilled team member who enjoys using their creative talents to produce business solutions which address the needs of our customers; someone with a solid technical background in various aspects of data warehousing and business intelligence, a good analyst who enjoys figuring out how to make sense of a wide range of complex data issues. The incumbent supports the Office of Research by providing data analysis, data modeling, data mining, ad-hoc reporting, and report and dashboard design. The incumbent will use technology to blend a variety of data sources into a combined platform that will provide insights to support the allocation of research administration resources. Enterprise Systems, a division of University of Florida Information Technology (UFIT) and the Office of the CIO, maintains and operates the software that powers UF's enterprise wide computer systems creating the technological foundation for the campus' academic and administrative business functions. The Data Services team is responsible for implementing and managing reporting products within the data warehouse. The data warehouse is the data repository for all the information systems managed by Enterprise Systems and can include: * Human Resources * Financial * Student Financial * Contract and Grants * Sponsored Research * Registrar * Admissions The incumbent will be embedded within the Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP). Day to day direction and supervision will be provided by the Director of DSP. Responsibilities include: implementing and managing reporting products related to sponsored research within the data warehouse, providing expertise in systems analysis and design, defining system scope and objectives based on user needs, preparing specifications from which reporting components and systems will be developed and developing technical documentation and communications.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree and one year of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree and three years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Self-starter requiring limited direct supervision who adapts easily to changing work environments and requirements * Exposure to and experience in these areas are preferred: o IBM Cognos 10 suite; Framework Manager, Report/Query Studio, Transformer, PowerPlay Version 7 (very experienced) o Oracle 11 database (very experienced) o Peoplesoft ERP systems (experienced) o AppWorx/UC4 Application Manager (experienced) o Ascential/Datastage 8.5 ETL toolset (exposure to) o Tableau or other visualization/analysis tools (experienced)
