West Virginia University is seeking a motivated professional who is interested in a career as Senior IT Auditor/Information Systems Management Auditor Senior.2 This position will Assist the University administration in effectively discharging its responsibilities, while maintaining a commitment to high ethical standards. Provide audit and consulting services that help to ensure the establishment of an effective internal control structure that provides for the safeguarding of University information assets; the integrity and reliability of information systems and data; compliance with University, State and Federal regulations; and with Board of Governor’s policies and procedures. A Bachelor’s Degree in information systems or a related field is required to be considered for this position. A Master’s Degree and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred. The successful candidate must also have a minimum of three years of experience in completing audits in an internal audit environment according to the Institute of Internal Auditors professional standards. Candidate must also have a minimum of three years of progressive directly related experience in the information systems field. Information systems experience may include; Comprehensive Information Systems Auditing, Management of IT services, Management of Systems Administration/Application Development, Computer Systems and Data Center Management, Information Security Administration/Management, Database Administration and Management.
