Duties: Under the supervision of the Dean of Counseling and Advising, the Director, Testing Services is responsible for the administration, development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the services provided by the Testing Services Center. The Director, Testing Services is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs, services, and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning. Education/Experience: Master's degree in educational psychology, educational research, counseling or closely related field required. Coursework and knowledge of testing practices and accepted standards, qualitative and quantitative research models, statistical analyses, psychometrics preferred; minimum three to five years' experience in higher education, preferably in testing. Preferred licensure: LCP or LSW or professional membership in the National Council on Measurement in Education; American (NCME); American Educational Research Association (AERA); or American Psychological Association (APA). Qualifications: The Director, Testing Services will develop long range and daily activities and functions of the college Testing Services Center; develop annual plans to assess outcomes of initiatives, services, student learning outcomes, and activities within the areas of the Testing Services Center; manage a program of on-going placement testing services for new and currently enrolled students; advise dean of current placement test status and recommend efficient process for annual test purchases; provide guidance to students, faculty, and Student Development Division staff on test preparation and review procedures; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong skills in technology and computerized testing software, as well as knowledgeable of other pertinent educational computer software; plus other duties as assigned.
