Job Summary

Bucknell University, Department of Psychology invites applications for an open rank one-semester visiting professor position, area open, beginning in August 2014. We seek a teacher-scholar who is committed to inclusive pedagogy and whose experience and expertise will contribute to working effectively with a diverse student body. As part of the three-course teaching load, the successful candidate will be expected to teach from among: Statistics, Introductory Psychology, intermediate level psychology courses, and an advanced seminar in the candidate's area of expertise. A Ph.D. or ABD in Psychology is required. Candidates hired for this position may have Faculty Associate status for the Spring of 2015 if desired. Bucknell is a highly selective, primarily undergraduate (3500 undergraduates and 150 masters students) institution, combining a strong liberal arts tradition with characteristics of a comprehensive university.
