GENERAL DUTIES

Manages a program or service providing community outreach and services on behalf of a College or Unit.

-Defines program goals, objectives, risks, and roles and responsibilities
-Collaborates with external organizations and community stakeholders to plan and execute program activities
-Develops and delivers direct service to external clientele
-Collects data on outcomes, and analyzes and reports results while planning new and improved services
-May manage an office staff of employees and/or volunteers, and have responsibility for fiscal administration
-Performs related duties as assigned.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION

The School of Continuing and Profession Studies (SCPS) seeks an experienced professional in the field of Collaborative Workforce Education Programs.  Reporting directly to the Dean of SCPS, he/she is responsible to ensure the success of sponsored cohort programs.  The Program Manager collaborates with the various internal academic department as well as external partners such as employers, labor unions, and community based organizations.  He/she administers programs that involve institutional partners and is responsible for developing, marketing, recruiting, and case management of various programs.

Major responsibilities are:
- Develop and implement new and innovative educational pathways to meet the workforce needs of various industries.
- Develop range of educational opportunities for adult learners.
- Manage all degree and certificate programs.
- Manage all sponsored cohort programs and projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
- Collect data and provide analysis for various degree and certificate programs.
- Provide support and feedback to instructors to meet the needs of adult and professional learners.
- Work collaboratively with a team to develop industry recognized training and certificate programs.
- Establish a rapport with institutional partners.
- Travel to various locations for meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and six years' related experience required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Higher Education
- Administrative experienced required with excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Ability to work closely with faculty, staff, and students
- Ability to collaborate with a team to develop new workforce development programs
- Grant writing experience preferred

COMPENSATION

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
