A Bachelor's degree and two years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years. Incumbent must have demonstrated organizational skills, and careful attention to detail. Experience providing leadership and direction in programmatic, budgetary, and operational functions. Experience with project planning, management, and balancing of competing priorities and complex situations. Experience working collaboratively, independently and meeting tight deadlines. Experience with event planning and ability to coordinate, organize, and evaluate meeting and/or events. Experience with the concepts, principles and practices of accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures, and electronic data processing as it applies to fiscal and accounting activities and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience gathering, interpreting, reporting and editing data. Experience working with multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
Incumbent must have superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse population of team members and constituents. In addition, incumbent must have a willingness to work collaboratively as a member of the Association and participate enthusiastically in the life of the University. Must have the ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop changes or alternatives.
Must have a service oriented approach and a willingness to work night, holiday and weekend hours.
Proof of a valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or ability to obtain.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.

Incumbent will coordinate volunteer communication with Seminole Club leaders by collecting the requested needs of the volunteer organizations and communicating them to Alumni Association Staff and University Departments to help promote and foster club programs; Assist in the implementation of new alumni programs and promotion of Seminole Club events by coordinating data pulls, communication efforts, correspondence and related paperwork. Reinforces a collaborative and supportive relationship with the University's colleges, the FSU Foundation and Seminole Boosters. Manages data and required annual reports associated with the Seminole Club network by streamlining the reporting processes, organizing the data, ensuring timely submission, and relaying relevant information to various University Departments. Coordinates Seminole Clubs mid-year and end-of-year financial reporting process by disseminating necessary financial templates to volunteers, ensuring timely submission, reviewing submissions, and compiling information to relay to the FSU Foundation for accounting review.
Assists in the planning, promotion and execution of events associated with Alumni Association and University Outreach including but not limited to the annual Seminole Club Leadership Conference, efforts for membership acquisition, special events, alumni outreach programs, constituency groups, reunions, and homecoming, Supports marketing and promotional efforts for constituency groups, alumni outreach programs, special events, membership, reunions and homecoming, including direct mail efforts, web-based promotions and e-communication. Administers Seminole Club scholarship process, both endowed and non-endowed scholarships, in coordination with the Office of Admissions, the FSU Foundation and Student Financial Services.
