McPherson College ( invites applications for the position of Assistant Director, Financial Aid, and a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt employee.

Reporting to the Director, Financial Aid and Admissions Operations, the Assistant Director, Financial Aid, will be managing the financial aid processes for McPherson College through demonstrated organizational leadership, proactive fiscal controls and excellent customer focus.

McPherson College is a four-year private liberal arts institution in central Kansas. McPherson was founded by members of the Church of the Brethren with a commitment for leadership that embodies this founding relationship. With a mission to develop whole persons through scholarship, participation and service, McPherson educates over 600 full-time students each year with minimal continuing education and graduate programming.

McPherson is looking for a critical thinking, who can work collaboratively with Admissions, Business Office and Academic Affairs to maintain a comprehensive financial aid strategy. The Assistant Director, Financial Aid, will have a commitment to the liberal arts tradition. Additionally, this employee will focus on the areas of financial aid regulatory compliance, customer relations and oversight and directional leadership for the financial aid department.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, two years of administrative experience in an academic financial aid office, appreciation for small liberal arts uniqueness, commitment to interpersonal relationships and regular communication with any internal or external customer, and proficiency in electronic technology.
