The department of Information & Systems Security is seeking an Enterprise Project Coordinator reporting to the Vice President Educational Technology.

The role of the Project Coordinator is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and budget. This includes identifying resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors in order to deliver projects.

The Project Coordinator will also participate in defining the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Guide the definition of the project's scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Minimizes exposure and risk on project.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Other duties, as assigned. 
Commensurate with education and experience with excellent benefits.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three years of experience in the project management area required or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Flexible during times of change.
  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and balance technical issues/solutions with time, cost, and human factors.
  • Excellent knowledge of a system development methodology, through all of its phases and deliverables.
  • Experience in managing.
  • PMP certification.

Position requires local travel. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Job takes place in normal environmental conditions.
