GENERAL DUTIES

Develops, implements, and oversees College-wide marketing plans to achieve institutional goals.

- Designs and executes a comprehensive strategic plan for marketing, advertising and communications

- Develops overall advertising and media strategies to achieve image, awareness, enrollment, recruiting, and/or fundraising goals

- Provide professional and managerial oversight of a broad range of marketing programs and tools, including digital, print, mail, broadcast, social networking, and other media

- Manages and develops internal staff and external resources

- Develops and analyzes key metrics of marketing effectiveness, as well as budgets and costs related to marketing programs and campaigns

- Performs related duties as assigned.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION

The Marketing Director will work in the Communications department and perform the additional following duties:
- Manages the College website including supervision of web manager, web content editor, and graphic designer.
- Oversees the design and production of College-wide publications including the bulletins, recruitment materials for the Office of Admissions, an annual President's report, and various materials for use by the Office of Development to make the case for giving to the College.
- Oversees brand management and enforces adherence to CCNY and CUNY brand and messaging standards in all marketing materials of the College.
- Oversees and initiates advertising for the College, particularly online advertising.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree and eight years' related experience required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

City College experience preferred.

COMPENSATION

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
