COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGIST B
Duties: The counseling psychologist is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the Center's OCD research treatment study. This involves ensuring compliance with IRB protocols and preparing IRB amendments and progress reports, monitoring patients' progress, documenting and reporting adverse events, aiding in recruitment of participants, and overseeing the activities of the assigned RA. The counseling psychologist participates in the training and supervision of pre-doctoral practicum students, residents, post-doctoral fellows, and community mental health providers. In the role of therapist, the Counseling Psychologist provides psychological services for fee-for service and study clients.
Qualifications: The minimum of a Master's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. PhD, PsyD or equivalent doctoral degree is strongly preferred. Must be licensed or licensure eligible. Must have psychotherapy experience working specifically with adults with anxiety disorders using CBT. Experience managing research projects is required. Position contingent upon funding.
