FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise.  Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

Nuclear Medicine
- Single photon emission computed technology (SPECT), X-Ray computed technology (CT), Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
- Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy for energy applications.
- Theory, simulation, and methodology in solid-state NMR.

Electronics
- Circuit Analysis (DC and AC) with passive linear and non-linear components.
- Semiconductor devices such as diodes, CMOS IC's including BJTs and FETs.

Radiation Physics
- Gamma and x-ray detectors.
- Knowledge of specification and acquisition of radiation generating equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. degree in Physics or area(s) of experience or equivalent.  Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

Teaching experience in urban community colleges and/or four year colleges preferred.

$42,873 - $74,133; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
