Job Summary The Development Associate III position supports front-line fundraising in areas such as donor communications (newsletters, videos, impact messages, etc.) and institution-wide donor stewardship initiatives for several important programs (including first-time donor and faculty/staff/retiree stewardship). Also responsible for Thank a Donor Day and other initiatives designed to thank UGA donors and at the same time, create a culture of philanthropy among students and staff. The position requires a creative person with a strong attention for detail. Must be able to multi-task, with the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects at the same time. Must be able to perform duties with a certain degree of independence. At the same time, work together with the DR&S team, Development Communications, UGA Publications and units across campus to enhance stewardship initiatives. The position requires excellent writing skills as well as knowledge of various computer programs and the ability to adapt to changing technology. It requires a friendly and caring customer service attitude and willingness to help with all activities and events associated with UGA's Office of Donor Relations & Stewardship. Applicant must be comfortable dealing with donors face-to-face as needed in support of UGA's donor stewardship efforts.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 5 years experience in customer service, hospitality organization, development, or related occupations; OR a combination of equivalent training and experience.
