The Department of English, World Languages, and History seeks a tenure track assistant professor to teach undergraduate English composition and literature courses. Preference will be given to candidates that are able to teach a wide range of American Literature courses and other courses that fulfill general education requirements. The successful candidate will have a 4/4 teaching load; serve on departmental and university committees; employ instructional technology in all courses; participate in university functions including student advisement; and develop and/or maintain a record of scholarship in her/his field of study.

Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in English, preferably in American Literature, and experience teaching college-level English courses.  Proficiency in secondary field(s) that are complementary to program needs is desired.
