Position Summary: The Anthropology program in the School of Language, Culture, and Society invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track full/part-time Instructor positions for the 2014-2015 academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Director.
Instructors may be needed to teach one to four on-campus or Ecampus undergraduate courses in Anthropology.
The Anthropology Program is part of the School of Language, Culture, and Society. The School also includes Ethnic Studies; Foreign Languages and Literatures; and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. The School has a central focus on global justice with emphases in social and environment justice, food insecurity, and Latino/a studies.
Position Duties: 100% Instruction:
This position will administer and teach either on-campus or on-line undergraduate courses in Anthropology.
Instructors are responsible for holding regular office hours to assist students with coursework and answer questions regarding curriculum.

Minimum/Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Anthropology or related field.
Teaching experience at the college/university level.
Evident commitment to educational equity.
Preferred (Special) Qualifications: PhD in Anthropology or related field.
