Fielding Graduate University, a global community of scholar-practitioners engaged in graduate education and research to advance individuals, organizations, and communities, seeks a full time Admission Advisor/Recruiter to work out of the Santa Barbara headquarters. As a member of the centralized recruitment team, the Admissions Advisor/Recruiter initiates and coordinates recruitment and admission efforts to attract, admit, and enroll mid-career professionals into the University. The Admissions Advisor/Recruiter will assist prospective students with the admissions process by following up on inquiries, highlighting course benefits and selling the various graduate and certificate programs that Fielding has to offer. The Admission Advisor/Recruiter will participate in recruitment activities and provides quality admissions guidance to prospective students on a regular basis. The Admissions Advisor/Recruiter proactively develops positive relationships with the recruit and collaborates with academic program, admissions, and marketing staff to ensure enrollment is attained. Our prospects are leaders in their field of study and as such require professional communication that demonstrates the high caliber education Fielding has to offer. Qualifications: Candidates who wish to be considered for the Admissions Advisor/Recruiter position must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience working in customer service, sales, marketing, or recruiting role within an office environment. Preference will be given to applicants that meet the educational requirement and have strong experience providing customer service or selling products or services to mid-career professionals. Candidates must also have the ability to establish and meet essential deadlines and use constructive feedback to ensure enrollment goals are met. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills are also needed. This position is exempt from overtime and does not include commission pay.
