SUMMARY: Fielding Graduate University, a global community of scholar-practitioners engaged in graduate education and research to advance individuals, organizations, and communities, seeks a Director of Recruitment and Admissions to work out of the Santa Barbara headquarters on a full time basis. The Director of Recruitment and Admissions is an entrepreneurial leader with strategic vision; outstanding communications skills; marketing knowledge; excellent people, project and financial management skills; demonstrated ability to develop and enhance an institution's online and social media presence; and a proven track record of using state-of-the-art approaches to recruit and enroll domestic and international students. The Director of Recruitment and Admissions will supervise the Recruitment and Admissions team and act as the lead recruiter to attract qualified and diverse graduate students for Doctoral, Master’s, and certificate programs. The Director provides leadership in the development and implementation of detailed recruitment plans to achieve new student enrollment targets for all program levels. The Director formulates and articulates comprehensive strategies for the well-organized use of technology to facilitate high quality prospect and applicant management. Under the executive leadership of the Vice President for Academic and Enrollment Services, and in collaboration with, university marketing and program leadership, the Director of Recruitment and Admissions will increase the visibility of the University’s programs with prospective domestic and international students to secure an increasing number of admissions applications, in a highly competitive marketplace. QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in marketing, business administration, integrated marketing, or communications. In addition, candidates must have 5-10 years of recruitment/admissions experience achieving enrollment targets for graduate and/or professional school programs. Applicants must also have experience generating and/or using market research data to develop and implement recruitment strategies. Preference will be given to applicants with 3-5 years of sales experience in higher education industry. Candidates must also have advanced knowledge of recruitment concepts, methods, principles, philosophies, and resources as well as advanced knowledge of admissions operation procedures and policies. As well as advanced knowledge and experience implementing, maintaining, and guiding the use of prospect and application systems (preferably, Apply Yourself and Hobsons Connect/Intelliworks.
