Job Summary The primary duty of the Associate Dean, Curriculum and Undergraduate Studies, is to serve in a support role to the dean in faculty and staff evaluation and in the implementation of academic programs and curriculum. Principal areas of assigned responsibility are: strategic planning; oversight of interdisciplinary programs, curriculum and schedule review; coordination of assessment efforts; coordination of program review, management of course offerings, including general education and academic programs at university centers; oversight of summer session; and acting on student-related issues. The Associate Dean acts in the dean’s absence.
