Qualifications: Appropriate terminal degree. Demonstrated success as a classroom teacher is required. Experience with graphics software (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator) and their integration into a video environment is recommended. Experience teaching HD Video production including editing and motion graphics preferred. Responsibilities: Teach Visual Effects/Motion Graphics and Video/Film Editing in our undergraduate program. Projects are edited using Apple Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premier Pro. Motion Graphics are created in Adobe’s After Effects using both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Principles of Film/Video production and Film/Video production and other film/video courses may be included. The Department: The Department ( offers a major in Electronic Media and Film with concentrations in film, video and digital media; radio/audio; and film and media studies. The Department enrolls approximately 500 majors served by 12 full-time and 20 part-time faculty. Towson University: Towson University ( was founded in 1866, is recognized by U. S.
