Job Description Plans, develops, markets and delivers public health education regarding the Affordable Care Act (ACA) instruction to local health program participants and community groups. Facilitates enrollment of eligible participants in health plans and establishes linguistically and culturally appropriate comprehensive education of ACA. ACA Specialist position is based out of the PASOs Greenville office due to large population of Latinos living in this region of the state. In addition to educating individuals/groups about ACA, s/he will support the PASOs Coordinator in outreach activities, recruitment and resource navigation thereby reaching a larger audience through PASOs existing network and creating a more expanded network. The Specialist will focus on education and enrollment efforts utilizing The Benefit Bank of South Carolina (TBB-SC) system and the marketplace in the Upstate of South Carolina (Greenville, Spartanburg and/or surrounding areas).

Minimum Qualifications Master's degree and 2 years relevant program experience, or a bachelor's degree and 4 years relevant program experience. Knowledge of English and Spanish languages. Ability to help enroll children and families in benefit programs and educate about ACA options. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to engage small groups in learning processes Knowledge of the principles, practices and theories of ACA, health promotion and education.
