Student Services Program Coordinator II
Job Description To provide program support activities for all graduate programs and students; processes application materials; assists with advisement/registration, orientations, information sessions and convocations; contributes to external and internal data requests. Provides program support activities for the MSN, Certificate and DNP Programs to include Graduate School BDMS downloads; CENTRAL database management for new and continuing student records; applications; admission, plans of study; registration; progression; and graduation. Serves as liaison between the Office of Graduate Studies and the Graduate School. Assists MSN and DNP Program Director's and Advisor with support activities related to graduate student information sessions; orientations; and convocations. Manages all health requirements, background and drug screenings for MSN and DNP students. In consultation with PhD, DNP and MSN Program Director's, provides programmatic oversight for MSN, DNP and PhD project proposals; final defenses; comprehensive exams; proposal defenses and project approval. Provides follow-up with verification documents for graduates. Provides support for the Graduate Council to include preparation and management of agendas, documents and minutes. Provides necessary data for surveys, questionnaires, grants, and other reports as requested. Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in Student Personnel Services or related field and 2 years related experience, or bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience. Preferred Qualifications University of South Carolina and/or College of Nursing experience to include knowledge and experience of USC Banner, GMS, Content Manager, BDMS and CON CENTRAL database.
