The Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in Sarasota, Florida seeks applicants for the position of Visiting Teaching Faculty I: Movement Specialist, to begin August 2014.
Anticipated Salary Range
Salary negotiable based upon qualifications, education, and experience.
Applicants must have a Master's Degree in Fine Arts or equivalent professional experience, and experience teaching action-based technique at the University level.

The selected candidate will be teaching first and second year graduate courses in movement, focusing on core strengthening and alignment, Alexander Technique, period styles, mask work, and dance technique. Curriculum can adapt to include candidate's field of interest, including combat, clown and commedia, Viewpoints, acrobatics, etc. Successful candidate will also consult on all Conservatory productions and work with a small faculty of working teacher/artists to develop curriculum and advise student body.
