Position Summary:

Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Director of Women’s Basketball Operations in the Athletics department.


The candidate would be expected to be responsible for: all managerial efforts in regard to both practice and game preparations; all team travel – airline, bus, hotel, food reservations; practice times and travel itineraries; camp and community service projects participation; and will assist in marketing plans and maintain social media sites.


Candidate must adhere to policies and procedures governing the Department of Athletics and the University and any applicable rules and regulations associated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) or any other conference or organization with which the University is or becomes associated with which affects University Athletics.

Required Degree, License or Certifications: Bachelor's degree, Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal residence

Required Skills or Software: Advanced knowledge of MS Word 2010, Advanced knowledge of MS Excel 2010, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately

Other Requirements:

Must have an understanding of the University’s concern for academics as well as athletic excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

College coaching/administrative experience. Knowledge of Synergy Sports Tech system and Dragon Fly Film Exchange system.
