Duties: The Manager of Marketing and International Relations oversees marketing and student satisfaction areas for the ELP. This position also is actively involved with the Executive Director and Manager of International Research and Program Development in strategic planning for business development and recruitment. This position oversees the marketing and recruitment budgets, marketing communication systems and databases, marketing publications and advertising, the ELP website, and social media sites. This position chairs the Student Outreach and Communication Committee and leads student satisfaction initiatives. The manager also maintains and develops relationships with ELP representatives and partners throughout the world, and engages in international recruitment travel or support for such travel.
BA or BS degree and a minimum of 3 years experience that includes marketing, recruitment, student services, or a combination of these, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with creating marketing materials. Experience with spreadsheets, databases, web applications, and social media. Experience communicating with a wide range of international stakeholders or clients. Demonstrated ability to manage a busy and complex portfolio of responsibilities. Able to lead teams and be a member of a team to attain successful outcomes. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (some evening and weekend events). Must be willing to travel internationally a few times a year.
Experience in a university setting. Experience in or knowledge of the international education market. Experience with budgets. Understanding and competency in a second language and strong understanding of cross-cultural issues and their relevance in the higher education context. Experience living and working abroad.
