Holy Names University in Oakland, CA, is pleased to announce searches for two recruitment positions: (1) MBA Recruitment and Outreach Counselor and (2) Adult and Graduate Enrollment Counselor. Both positions may be assumed immediately. Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admission, these positions are responsible for achieving enrollment goals in designated academic programs.

Graduate Admission at HNU is organized to help eligible students further their personal and career goals through access to graduate education. Successful persons in these positions will employ tactical enrollment plans reflective of the yield models, financial aid, and key performance indicators necessary to guide practice. Active recruiting and outreach is essential for success.

HNU’s vision is to educate leaders for positive social change by living the University’s core values of social justice, service, development of the human person, and radical hospitality. These positions present a unique opportunity to translate those values into college access and success by practicing radical hospitality.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate an understanding of the core values of Holy Names University and the ability to translate those values into college access and success. A Master’s degree is essential for these positions, along with general competencies in educational counseling, communications, and organizational development. Competencies related to prospect management, recruiting, outreach, enrollment management, and personal service, as they pertain to higher education, is also essential.

These positions involve flexible hours and some local/regional travel. Office hours are minimal. Field hours are essential. Evening, travel and occasional weekend hours are to be expected; general time frame: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
