Responsibilities

The Assistant Director of Housing Operations provides departmental leadership and management in the areas of facilities management, dining program management, technology operations, One Card and parking tag distribution, and housing assignment processes.

The Assistant Director is also involved in departmental planning, budgeting, policy formation and implementation, assessment, vendor relationships, management of departmental webpages, and program development.

Position is a live off position.



Minimum Qualifications

Required education and skills/experience include:

*Master’s degree. A Master’s degree in areas of Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling or related field is preferred.

*Three to five years full time work experience post graduate work.

*Sound decision making skills.

*Ability to work independently.

*Commitment to diversity.

*Support educational mission of University.

*Basic supervision.

*Team leadership.



Preferred Qualifications

*A Master’s degree in areas of Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling or related field is preferred.

*Budgeting and experience with a housing management system is preferred.

Process invoices related to the residential and dining program.
