The Director of Marketing and Public Relations is responsible for developing and implementing institution-wide integrated marketing and communications initiatives in support of the college’s objectives and strategic plan. The director will be responsible for the creation and implementation of all marketing, branding, public relations and advertising programs and other communications goals as assigned. Specifically, this individual will direct all advertising and production functions for promotional campaigns; serve as managing editor of all print and digital publications; oversee photography, print and online design work, and video production; network with civic organizations, print and broadcast personnel; and supervise a staff of four. Bachelor's degree and four (4) years' experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, English, or a related communications discipline. Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and measurement of marketing campaigns, public relations initiatives, and in digital communications including web and social media content management. Evidence of strong writing and editing skills, and experience managing projects from strategy, through concept and execution with a creative team is important.
