Vacancy: #14F093 Position: #3541 The Department of Geography and Geology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (http://www.uncw.edu/earsci) invites applications for a one-year lecturer position in geology to begin August 2014. The position is a full-time, benefit-earning, non-tenure-track appointment for the 2014-2015 academic year. Primary responsibility is teaching introductory geology courses, which may include physical geology, environmental geology, prehistoric life, natural disasters, and/or other courses depending on department needs and expertise of the applicant. Other instructional tasks may be assigned by the department chair. The successful candidate will hold a M.S. or higher degree in the geosciences or a closely related discipline.
