Position Summary: The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) Project at Michigan State University (MSU) is searching for Senior Engineers to join the FRIB Project Team. The successful candidates will produce innovative design solutions to accomplish the conceptual equipment requirements of the laboratory.

Support Staff: Minimum Requirements
A master's degree in engineering is required. At least five years of progressively more responsible work experience in Engineering or related field. Excellent communication, planning, organizational and leadership skills to successfully accomplish our goals. Experience in vacuum and radiation compatible materials

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: A PhD in engineering in desired. Experience with superconducting linac design or high power particle beam magnets and target equipment. Experience with CAD/CAE and SolidWorks/ANSYS
