Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of three years of full time experience to include video production and graphic design experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have, keep and maintain the appropriate valid NYS Driver's License; have a motor vehicle record which is free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations. Applicants must submit their operator's license number on their application form for a motor vehicle check.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Avid). Experience in live event production for video boards and/or webcasting/television, developing publications, prior game-day management experience, and previous website and social media experience. Previous experience in a college athletic department setting as well as previous Division I experience.

Brief Description of Duties: The Director of Digital Media will be responsible for all Department of Athletics video and graphic design projects/initiatives. This includes overseeing live event production for all sports, producing promotional videos, highlight packages, fundraising/marketing videos, overseeing the weekly “Get Your Red On Minute” video and assisting in the execution of live production events that are webcast through the America East Digital Network. Additional duties include graphic design projects such as schedule posters, brochures, website ads, splash pages and fundraising event materials. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
  • Video/Media Projects: Oversight of the athletics department’s video and graphic design, which will serve as lead content for GoSeawolves.org and the department’s social media outlets. This includes creating a digital identity that is consistent with the department's brand. Overseeing live event production for all sports, the Get Your RED On Minute, weekly football highlight packages during the fall, highlight packages for men’s and women’s basketball home games during the winter, generating promo videos for all sports, generating video and editing it for the end-of-year department highlight video, generating and editing video content to be used for fundraising and marketing efforts.
  • Graphic Design Projects: Produce marketing and fundraising material including, but not limited to, schedule posters, golf outing brochures, website ads and splash pages. These projects are in support of departmental events, team fundraising efforts, athletic contests, team promotions and various other fundraising initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Assistant AD for Athletic Communications.

Special Notes: This is a full time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Night and weekend work is required. Travel to athletic contests and departmental events will be required for this position in order to obtain footage for all video media.

The selected candidate must successfully clear a background investigation.
