Position Summary: Responsibilities include collaborating with business colleagues to identify, define, and document business processes and requirements, and implementing solutions to meet business needs; performs system application and data analysis; testing, documenting, and reporting issues found in the software; collaborates with business and technical staff to insure understanding of the requirements, alternatives, and solutions through accurate, clear, and complete communication; participates in the definition of an organized approach to perform business analysis tasks.

Support Staff: Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in biology, animal husbandry, public health or clinical sciences, business, administration, or a related research field; three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading application systems; experience with business analysis, process mapping, and solution design of complex systems and processes, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; requires the ability to handle export controlled materials.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing sponsored research activities in the area of animal care and use or human research; experience working in highly complex policy and organizational environments; experience working with individuals in a university setting; familiarity with either Coeus or Kuali Coeus; one to two years of business or software analysis experience; practical experience with problem solving, group facilitation, team building, and decision-making; proven ability to prioritize and schedule assigned duties; excellent organizational skills; close attention to detail; ability to multi-task effectively on a variety of tasks; demonstrated knowledge of application technology and systems; proven ability to function both independently and as part of a team; strong written and verbal communication skills; a track record for service orientation, initiative, organizational commitment, and a positive attitude; experience with Microsoft Office.
