Reporting to the Vice President for Strategic Marketing and Communications, the Executive Director, Digital Marketing Strategy will develop and implement a strategic web marketing plan using digital technologies to achieve marketing goals. The Executive Director will manage a team of web strategists, developers, and network administrators. He or she will coordinate and advise on the planning and creation of public-facing websites, digital marketing infrastructure and integration, university digital marketing policies, and meeting legal requirements such as ADA accessibility. The Executive Director will create and manage digital engagement strategies including developing digital/online metrics and building consensus around key performance indicators (KPIs). Responsibilities will include setting and meeting goals for awareness and traffic building, fundraising and enhancing engagement with prospective students. The incumbent must be a creative team leader and strategic thinker who is exceptionally driven and committed to advancing Temple University's relationships with its constituents through digital platforms. The Executive Director, Digital Marketing Strategy will also perform other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, IT or a related field and at least ten years of relevant professional experience at a leadership level; significant experience managing digital engagement strategies and content creation; experience hiring, developing and evaluating a team of professionals. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills and Abilities: *Demonstrated ability to work in diverse teams, and to drive projects to completion on a timely basis and within budget. *Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a broad range of constituents. *Demonstrated ability to manage digital engagement strategy development, content creation, and website development. *Experience working with Content Management System (CMS) and constituent management systems (CRM), and the demonstrated ability to learn new systems. *Experience creating and measuring performance of digital engagement campaigns. *Strong writing, messaging and communications skills.
