Manage the distribution of materials received for cataloging in a timely manner; perform advanced copy cataloging, which involves following nationally-accepted standards and local practices in the assigning of call numbers and subject; using templates, may perform original cataloging of special materials; consult with other library staff as needed to ensure the consistent placement of materials within the collection; coordinate cataloging special projects as assigned or approved by the Catalog Management Librarian and/or Metadata/Cataloging Librarian; process reserves; compile monthly statistics and create special reports as needed for accreditation and collection analysis purposes; physically process new materials for library's collection; evaluate and process existing materials in library collection needing repair or preservation maintenance; maintain an inventory of processing/repair supplies; maintain departmental supply budget spreadsheet; hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student assistants; participate in departmental, library, and university-wide meetings, training, events, and committees.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (summer schedule hours may vary in accordance with University summer scheduling and library scheduling guidelines)
