A Dissertation Affiliate Faculty Member is appointed by and directly responsible to the Department Chair. Duties include teaching 6 credit hours in the International Psychology program in addition to supervision of the formulation/writing of student proposals, directing candidates in carrying out the IRB approved study and closely supervising dissertation completion in conjunction with committee members.
All faculty members report to the Chair of their departments regarding the execution of faculty responsibilities. The department chair is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and developing the performance of all faculty members. The chair will be responsible for the identification and selection of program and professional faculty who teach in the department.
- Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline
- Evidence of strong teaching and academic administration at the post-secondary level
- Scholarship and/or professional field experience in International Psychology
- Substantial experience in diverse teaching modalities (particularly online instruction)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
