Position Summary: The College of Education invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track full/part-time field Instructional Evaluator positions to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2013-2014 academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Dean.

Instructional Evaluators may be needed to supervise student teachers in undergraduate and graduate areas.

Position Duties: 100% Observe, advise, and evaluate school teacher and school counselor students in their field placement internships and, mediate the relationship with their cooperating teachers.

Minimum/Required Qualifications: Two years of teaching experience in early childhood, elementary, middle or high school immediately prior to evaluation duties.

Hold a valid license for current assignments.

Preferred (Special) Qualifications: A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.

Recommended Full-Time Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
