Position Summary: The University Honors College invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track full/part-time Instructor positions to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2013-2014 academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Dean.

The University Honors College is a degree granting authority within Oregon State University (OSU). The overall mission of the UHC is to provide an innovative, enriched learning experience and a small college atmosphere to motivated, capable students, integrating students from all academic colleges and departments into a cohesive community. Admission to the UHC is by application. Currently, the UHC supports approximately 650 undergraduate students and is expected to grow to 1000 students by the year 2015.

Position Duties: 100% Instruction

Instructors may be needed to administer and teach undergraduate courses in various disciplines of study available at Oregon State University.

Minimum/Required Qualifications: Masters degree in discipline appropriate to the field of teaching.

Preferred (Special) Qualifications: A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.

Recommended Full-Time Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
