Position Summary: The Mechanical Engineering Program within the School of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track full/part-time Instructor positions to teach on a term by term basis for 2013-2014 academic year. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the School Head.
Instructors may be needed to teach courses in the following areas: mechanics, design, dynamics, control, thermal fluid sciences, energy systems or materials science, manufacturing or industrial engineering.
Position Duties: 100% -- Teaching and Instruction. Instructors may be needed to teach courses in undergraduate and graduate areas. May also be responsible for coordination of or instruction in laboratory settings.

Minimum/Required Qualifications: MS or MA in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering or related field.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Preferred (Special) Qualifications: Teaching experience at the college or university level.
PhD in subject/field of instruction.
A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
