Position Summary: Will be responsible for coordinating all recruitment activities for the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities (RCAH); will work closely with the RCAH Director and Assistant Director of Student Affairs, the dean, and RCAH faculty and staff, as well as the Office of Admissions; responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing and implementing an RCAH strategic admissions plan, including print/electronic communications, Web site, and events; planning and participating in campus recruitment programs; representing the RCAH at recruitment fairs, high school visits, informational meetings, etc., including significant in- and out-of-state travel; individual visits with prospective students and their families; organizing current RCAH student volunteers for recruitment events and initiatives; other student affairs duties as assigned.

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in admissions, counseling, communications, student services, or related area, including implementing programs and schedules, making formal presentations, and working with the public; experience with database, spreadsheet, social networking, desktop publishing, and/or presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications: Master''s degree in student affairs, higher education, or related field; at least one year of full-time work in a student affairs/services program such as admissions, advising, orientation, student activities, or housing/residence life; excellent written and oral communication skills; innovative approach to engaging prospective students and families; strong organizational skills with an emphasis on long-term recruitment and outreach planning.
