About The Unit:

Unit Job Summary: Marketing Manager: Partners with publishers in the Journals Division managing activities surrounding circulation and external communication for specific portfolios. A particular focus will be on using digital technologies to enhance the Division's outreach efforts in the scholarly and academic markets. Partners with the publishers and senior marketing manager to recommend and coordinate implementation strategies to achieve marketing goals for the journals portfolio. Performs the following activities with respect to specified journal portfolio: market research, marketing communications, including development of annual Journals catalog. Prepares scheduled and ad hoc reports on circulation, sales, usage, and marketing campaigns for administration and publishing partners. Attends library and other trade shows as needed to promote journals, generate subscriptions, and grow readership. Takes on and completes additional projects as assigned by the senior marketing manager.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Unit Experience: Minimum of two years experience working in a publishing or marketing environment required.
