Key responsibilities include: • Assisting faculty and staff with their individual proposals by providing pre-proposal consultation, proposal editing, and budget proof reading; • Identifying, soliciting, and stewarding grants from foundations and government programs for institutional priorities and faculty research; and • Ensuring high-quality post-award management including: reviewing award documents and terms, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and sponsor policies, responding to questions from award recipients, monitoring draw down of sponsor funds, reviewing sub-awards and proposed budgets, and managing stewardship letters, post-award reporting and other correspondence related to foundation and corporate grants received by the college.
