REGIONAL RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR - INTERNATIONAL
Columbus State University has an opening for a Regional Recruitment Coordinator in the Enrollment Management Division. This position is responsible for recruiting both domestic and international students to apply to and eventually attend Columbus State University. This position will report primarily to the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment with additional reporting to the Director of Global and Graduate Recruitment. Responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to visiting high schools; attending recruitment fairs; hosting visitors to campus; planning and executing international recruitment travel; and building relationships with colleagues in both the secondary and post-secondary sectors. Work is performed with considerable independence and will encompass responsibilities in designated territories for both in-state and international recruitment. Frequent work in the evening, some weekends, and travel both throughout Georgia and abroad is required to support the University’s recruitment activities. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. The selected candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills; possess excellent organizational and planning skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs; the ability to make decisions in accordance with administrative rules, regulations, and policies; the ability to maintain complex records and prepare reports; the ability to understand and follow complex oral and/or written instructions; the ability to meet and work tactfully and effectively with colleagues, prospective students, parents, high school counselors, and faculty members; the ability to plan and organize departmental project goals, policies, and procedures; the ability to work irregular hours, nights, and weekends; and all other related duties as assigned. The selected candidate must provide their own vehicle; possess a valid driver’s license and a valid passport or have the ability to obtain one; and must be comfortable with traveling on his or her own, both in the US and abroad. The selected candidate must be able to lift with reasonable accommodation a minimum of 40 lbs. The salary is commensurate with education and experience.
