Title: Assistant Director of Assessment and Accreditation Overview: The Assistant Director of Assessment and Accreditation is a full-time, 12 month position who reports to the Director of Assessment and Accreditation. The Assistant Director maintains the data collection system for the College of Education and Technology, provides support to faculty, staff and students, maintains the college website, and serves as a liaison with the Kansas State Department of Education. This position is also responsible for the daily operations of the Instructional Resource Center, and will teach one three-hour course each semester (fall, spring, summer). Desired qualifications: knowledge of accreditation, goal oriented, ability to organize time and tasks, comfortable using technology in the workplace, and excellent interpersonal communication skills. Master’s degree preferred. Duties: Tk20 system manager/College data manager • Maintenance of Tk20 data management system • Maintenance of student accounts • Maintaining an up-to-date data protocol and ensuring the data’s integrity • Serves as the primary support mechanism for College of Education and Technology faculty, staff and students with respect to the Tk20 system, including the preparation and delivery of instructional materials relative to Tk20 • Provide accreditation (CAEP) and program review (KSDE) support to the Director of Assessment and Accreditation • Maintain appropriate aspects of the College website as directed by the Director of Assessment and Accreditation • Mailing Tk20 introductory and explanatory materials to new faculty, staff, students and supervisors each semester • Serve as a liaison between College of Education and Technology faculty, staff and students and the Director of Assessment and Accreditation on matters related to assessment, accreditation and data collection and management • Works directly with the Kansas State Department of Education as the College’s KPTP representative • Consults with Tk20 representatives about issues and problems requiring resolution • Serve as the social media coordinator for the College of Education and Technology • Participates in creating and revising marketing materials in the College of Education and Technology • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Assessment and Accreditation Instructional Resource Center director • Oversee the IRC’s day to day operations • Oversee the hiring and scheduling of work study students assigned to the IRC • Manage the budget of the IRC • Manage the security of IRC computers, equipment and related infrastructure • Serve as a liaison between the IRC, the Learning Commons and CTELT • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Assessment and Accreditation Teaching responsibilities • Will teach one three credit hour course (or the equivalent) each semester (F/S/U) as assigned by the Dean of the College of Education and Technology • Other duties as assigned by the Dean of the College of Education and Technology. Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
