Assistant Director of Residence Life and Intercultural Life
Applications are being accepted for the position of Assistant Director of Residence Life and Intercultural Life. This position will serve as a live-in area coordinator with responsibility for supervising the day-to-day community development and operations of one to three residential buildings and for assisting the departments of Intercultural Life and Residence Life with programming, policies and services. This position will assist with campus inclusion and diversity education initiatives for students and faculty and staff members. This position will supervise 13-15 0.5 FTE student employees, serve as administrative conduct hearing officer, participate in rotating on-call coverage, and assist in crisis/emergency intervention. Responsibilities also include assisting students with resolving interpersonal conflicts, mentoring individual students and advising student organizations, and supporting resident assistants and student organization leaders. Experience with or knowledge of student life at a small, residential liberal arts college is preferred. Night and weekend hours should be expected.
