The Vice President, Finance & Management reports directly to the President and is a member of the President’s Cabinet. As the institution’s chief financial officer, he/she will ensure the overall operational effectiveness and integrity of the University’s financial system and oversee an annual operating budget of approximately $225 million. The Vice President is responsible for developing and articulating the University’s financial vision to all stakeholders; working collaboratively with the President, administrators, faculty and staff in budget development and management; providing leadership and overall direction in the development and management of fiscal policies, procedures and internal processes; and overseeing facility maintenance and capital planning. The successful candidate must have an earned degree in an appropriate discipline such as accounting, finance, or business or a closely related discipline or CPA certification (advanced degree preferred). Significant progressively responsible administration and financial management experience preferably in higher education is desired. The Chief Information Officer(CIO) serves as the University’s leader and advocate for information technology, with responsibility for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive technology environment for both academic and administrative computing systems. The CIO is responsible for policy development, budget preparation, and management of all institutional computing and network resources. The Chief Information Officer will also be expected to help support an aggressive and growing research program for the university in support of their research grants and infrastructural resource needs. As a member of the President’s Cabinet, and reporting to the VP for Planning and Information Technology, the CIO participates in strategic planning, policy formulation, and problem solving, and offers advice and counsel on the implications of institutional decisions. The successful candidate must have significant professional managerial information technology experience supervising a complex functional unit, preferably in an academic setting. Current experience, training and/or academic coursework with information technology systems in use at a university, college, corporate setting or IT industry is needed.
